Greetings to the select few that will see this post, and
all it’s pure awesomeness! My name is Larry and it’s been almost a full year
since I’ve done anything for this blog. The poor neglected thing, I hope you
all have been well and painting since then.
Sadly, the lack of posts are due to a lack of painting and even more so, the
complete lack of games. I’ve been this hobby a long time and there’s been some
dry spells, but the games have pretty much come to a grinding stop. I blame myself for letting things get this
bad.
The reality is my own painting snobbery is what’s killing
the gaming. I just can’t drag my @$$ to the local stores to battle the
unpainted hordes. Just in case you are new to the blog, I’m not the most competitive
player but my games are a hell a lot sexier than most. I love a drop-down,
knock out fight as much as the next war gamer, but it's visual aspect of the game that is deal breaker.
Even with-out the games, the urge to build and paint something
has been slowly creeping back, but with taking such a long break, I’m at a loss
for where to pick back up. I think my
next post will be an overview of all my possible future projects/madness.
The one thing I do know is that you can see a brand new grammar-forsaken
post here each and every week or at least that’s the goal. If I can get some
games happening, then maybe we can get back to posting at little more frequently.
If not I’ll just make some grumpy old man posts. Those are always fun.
And yes, I did finish those models from that last post over a year ago. Well, almost finished.
