Let me tell a little a story, I've been in a big ole' painting funk over the past few months. It's natural to take breaks from time to time. Never had one last this long though...
The New Nid Codex is blame.
My disliked for the book is so strong. I went to all the trouble to take the entire army to a local E-bay store. After whole week, the goons never listed the army. So, I took the horde back home.
After some thought, my old bugs are sitting in two camps. One set makes up my new 1k. army list. The other half will be going up on the chopping block, to help fund the army in the near future. As I have a very limited budget right now, some of the old models, went under the knife to help fill in some gaps.
My old Warriors have been transformed into Cheesy Gun-beasts. These guys and the brain bugs are the only real answer to the tank theme that is occurring in 5th edition. Well that's all for right now, the next project is to is find a way to make a Tervigon, out of a old Carnifex.
The blog where all the models are painted, all the tables good looking, and the dice roll below average.

'counts-as' Waywatchers Pics
Well, this is the only 'free' unit I've ever been able to squeeze out plastic kits so I'm thinking this idea might take off a little bit for a few of you. I really like all the the little forest-spirits that come extra with the WE plastics, and decided I'd try to use them as some sort of unit.
The Wood Elf army book describes and portrays many different guardians of the forest and obviously doesn't really encompass all of them so I decided to take the 'roots attack!' theme from the Treeman and apply it over to some little sniper-esque spirit guys. Lucky for me, GW even included the roots on the sprue. I added a Forest Dragon tusk to one of the bases to suggest that perhaps the spirits are defending the sacred ground where an Elder Dragon took his final breath and left his body behind for the fertility of Athel Loren.

Glade Rider Pictures
I'm pretty pleased with myself. I finally got around to making a decent little light-tent. My good friend and partner in bass Tim Smith helped me. (helps that he's a professional photographer lol) Anyways we snapped a few pics of my Glade Riders as well as my counts-as Waywatchers on his camera and he even touched them up for me before I left. Make sure to click over to Tim's blog for a minute, he's got some amazing stuff.

Space Hulk Progress
Just a quick shot here. Today I did my final once-over with the pen knife and drilled all the storm bolters. Sergeant makes his first appearance in this one too, I believe.
Still trying to find time to make a light-tent. Life is my excuse.
